Dr. Christine E. Dickson, Clinical Psychologist

Welcome, I am Dr. Christine E. Dickson, licensed clinical psychologist [Lic.# CA PSY20050] I believe that every person has the capacity to create meaningful change, even in the midst of struggle. Over the course of more than 20 years as a licensed clinical psychologist, I’ve seen how insight, compassion, and the right tools can transform lives.

My journey has taken me through Dual PhDs in Clinical Psychology and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, years of clinical practice, and opportunities to share my research and experience with colleagues around the world. Along the way, I have been honored to be recognized by Wikipedia as a 21st Century American Psychologist, a distinction that reflects my lifelong dedication to advancing the field.

In my practice, I specialize in helping people who may appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, executives, engineers, and entrepreneurs who struggle with anxiety, burnout, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, or substance use. I also work closely with adolescents and young adults navigating identity, emotional regulation, and academic stress.

My approach blends evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Whether I am guiding an individual through a moment of crisis, helping a parent better understand their child, or coaching an executive to thrive in high-pressure environments, my focus is on practical tools, emotional safety, and long-term resilience.

If you are ready to take the next step in your journey, I invite you to explore my work and connect with me. Therapy is not only about addressing pain — it’s about discovering what is possible when we live with clarity, balance, and purpose.
